About Naxos

 

Naxos Island is the largest and most fertile island in the Cyclades. It is located centrally within the Cyclades group of islands and has only recently been developed as a tourist resort.

Traveling to Naxos

By Plane:

Naxos is easily accessible from Athens international airport (Eleftherios Venizelos)
There are 1-2 flights a day from Athens to Naxos. The flight takes about 25 minutes.
There are also international airports in Mykonos, Santorini and Crete.
These islands have regular boat-connections with Naxos.
 

 

By Boat/Ferry:

During summer season 8-10 ferries daily connect Naxos with the mainland.
Ports on the mainland are: Pireaus (Athens), Rafina and Lavrio.
Since Naxos is the central island of the Cyclades, there are good connections with the surrounding islands: daily to Mykonos, Santorini and Paros.
